Who we are

This policy covers the Scrollway app for iPhone and iPad and this website ("Scrollway", "we", "us"). Contact us at simpletonfacts@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

To make the app work, Scrollway saves the following only on your device, inside the app's private storage:

• Your learning progress, Bible IQ, streaks, achievements, garden and game scores.
• Settings and preferences, such as text size, sounds and reminder time.
• Anything you choose to type, such as a first name or nickname, profile names, bookmarks, highlights and Prayer Lantern entries.

This information is never sent to us or anyone else. We cannot see it. It may be included in your own device or iCloud backups, which Apple handles under its privacy policy.

Information we collect

None. The app has no servers, no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no advertising or attribution SDKs. It works fully offline.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details; we never receive them. The app only checks with Apple whether your Apple ID has an active Premium entitlement. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you allow them, reminders are scheduled on your device by the app itself. No push service or device token is used. You can turn them off anytime in iOS Settings.

Backups you export

If you use Export backup, the app creates a file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where that file goes is your choice.

Children

Scrollway is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Purchases are made through Apple, which offers parental controls such as Ask to Buy.

Deleting your data

You can erase all progress inside the app (You, then Settings, then Reset all progress), or simply delete the app, which removes everything it stored. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete, export or correct on our side.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA and US state laws such as the CCPA give you rights over personal data a company holds about you. Scrollway does not hold any. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. If you have a question, email us and we'll gladly answer.

Links to other websites

The app and this site link to a few outside pages, such as Apple's EULA and privacy policy and the free helpline directory findahelpline.com. Opening a link takes you to that site, which has its own privacy policy. The app sends nothing about you when you tap a link.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. If we ever started collecting data, we would ask you first.
